Spring Equinox Aufguss Celebration -Guest hosts Emir&Helena

Earlier in December we celebrated the solstice with an aufguss, and we wish to stay connected and celebrate the cyclical nature of life by celebrating the Spring Equinox. As the Earth tilts toward the sun, we find ourselves at the threshold of a new season. The Spring Equinox marks a moment of balance,when day and night are equal, and the world awakens from its winter slowness. A time of balance and renewal, as we honor the harmonious relationship between light and dark, and embrace the vibrant energies of new beginnings within. As we emerge from winter’s introspection, let us gather to welcome the blossoming flowers, the fruits of our spiritual dedication, and the aliveness of being present in the now. Together, we’ll honor this transition, planting seeds of intention for a more connected and balanced world. As the steam rises, infused with the scents of spring, fresh herbs, blooming flowers, and citrus, we will honor the return of light, and the possibilities of new cycles. Let us welcome all that is, trying to connect with gratitude and equanimity, embracing both our light and shadow as part of the whole. Come as you are, and allow yourself to be held in the warmth with the help of the essential oils. Together, let us celebrate the beauty of being, the wisdom of impermanence, and the ever-present possibility of renewal. This session will have 3 aufguss in total and a more spacious sauna with only 18 spots. Guided by: Emir Mujezinovic Emir works at the intersection of artistic expression, social work and well-being. He is inspired by Balkan traditions of herbal medicine, poetry & storytelling and humanistic music therapy. From his own experience of sauna and cold baths he uses it as a recipe for harmony and well-being. Helena Fernández-Cavada Helena works as a multidisciplinary artist from a holistic perspective and in the last years her work has focused on coexistence and existential wellbeing. She is a yoga practitioner with a daily dedicated practice of meditation. Please remember to bring your own padlock. In the sauna, you’re free to choose what feels most comfortable for you, wearing swimwear, using only a towel to sit on, or covering yourself with a towel. Regardless of your choice, a towel to sit on is required to help protect the wooden benches. The bathing pier is a public area, so we recommend wearing swimwear or covering yourself with a towel when heading to the water ABOUT THE SAUNA The sauna temperature is kept between 70-80°C. Thanks to the sauna’s design, we’re able to host longer aufguss sessions without the heat becoming overwhelming or exhausting. The heater is positioned one meter above the ground, which means the lower benches stay slightly cooler,ideal for those who aren’t accustomed to higher temperatures. We lock the doors at 18:45 and start the first session at 18:50. Should you arrive later, you will have to wait until the first session is completed. We aim to finish the last session around 20:30 and the sauna will be open until 21:00.
