An invitation to celebrate that we are alive, and during morning time we can feel the water of the ocean, the wind and the warmth of the sauna, and the continuing changes in how we experience them. What is that we take for granted or we overlook? Can we feel the experience of impermanence? A time to honor the waves of sensations, the hit and the cold, and all sensations with curiosity. To nurture our presence in this world by investigating how everything changes, listening with attention to your inner life. During this aufguss session we wish to celebrate our being, our moment to moment experience that can welcome that all life is a process of changing. A time for softening the heart area, giving ourselves the space to attune to the large number of subtitle sensations that unfold in our everyday life, actualizing ourselves, letting go, and open to the flow that arises. Between each session we have 10-15 minute breaks where you have the opportunity for sea bathing, reflection and enjoying our herbal tea. The essential oils we use in the sauna are organic and of the highest quality. ABOUT THE LOCATION At Öresund Funkis there are separate changing rooms with cabinets for storage, you need to bring your own padlock. In the sauna you choose what you feel comfortable with, swimwear, only a towel to sit on or to cover yourself with. Regardless of the choice, you should have a towel to sit on to protect the wooden bench. As the bathing pier is a public place, we recommend wearing swimwear or covering yourself with a towel down to the water. ABOUT THE SAUNA The temperature in the sauna will be between 70 and 80 degrees and the design of the sauna allows us to have longer aufguss sessions without it being too hot and exhausting. Since the sauna heater is one meter above the ground, this means that the first row in the sauna does not get too hot, which suits those who are not used to high sauna temperatures. For us, it is important that you feel safe and comfortable during your visit. If you feel that it is getting too hot or that your body is signaling, you are always welcome to take a break in the middle of our sessions.
