Yin yoga improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs. It targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues - ligaments, joints, bones. It calms and balances the mind and body, reduces stress and anxiety, and improves joint mobility. During this class you will relax in passive, longer- held Yin Yoga poses, usually 3-5 minutes. Waves of soothing, echoing sounds help with stress, fatigue, and depression. Singing bowls used for sound bath are attuned to the energy centers, or chakras, within the body. Gongs & Quartz crystal bowls vibrate and sing to help restore vibrational balance within the body.
