I am a trauma informed breathwork facilitator and sound healing facilitator where I combine these two into my own unique sessions. Breathwork is a series of breathing exercises aimed at strengthening your mental, emotional and physical health. Studies show that 80% of the population today has some form of respiratory dysfunction. The breath is directly connected to our nervous system, which in turn affects everything from our immune system to digestion and our mental focus. In Breathwork we switch between being in the parasympathetic and the sympathetic nervous system in order to be able to safely go between these two in everyday life.
