Breathe Morning Practice (Breathwork)

The way you start your day doesn't just affect your mood — it also influences how you think, perform, and interact with others during the rest of the day. Research shows that some morning practices are more efficient than others in lowering stress hormones, increasing both presence and productivity plus improving overall well-being. One such morning practice is to consciously connect with the breath. Breathwork is a powerful and efficient way to balance the parasympathetic with the sympathetic nervous system, helping the body to a state of calmness, relaxation and recovery. Alpha waves are activated in your brain and you enter a state where you are awake without actively thinking. Your heart rate slows down, your breathing sinks deeper into your lungs, the oxygenation of the body increases, you relax and experience inner peace and tranquility. By regularly practicing breathwork, you open up for living and leading from a calmer, more present and embodied place in yourself. In a digital breathwork session you participate from a calm place where you can lie down on your back and immerse yourself in the experience. I guide you through the session accompanied by rhythmic music. You receive the Zoom-link upon registration. If it is the first time you participate I welcome you into the room 10 minutes before the start of the session for instructions on the neuroregulatory breathing technique. Warmly welcome, Johanna About me: Certified Neuroregulatory Breathwork facilitator exploring the future of embodied leadership. *If you have or have experienced any of the following, please consult your physician before participating: chronic high blood pressure, stroke/TIA attack, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PTSD, detached retina, epilepsy, glaucoma, severe osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, asthma.
