Sensing and Sound

1

About Sensing We’ll get back to the essence of our being: nature. The movements are influenced by how animals and small children move. The very essence of Sensing is that we are in constant motion and everything you do is always on your body’s terms. We soften and moisturize our connective tissue through rocking, twisting, spiraling and soft movements. Through ’body yawns’ (pandiculations) we release locks and tensions in muscles and soft tissues. Sensing is a healing form of movement where you get to feel held in a loving space. Through playful and soft movements, we flow together to finally rest and vibrate to the tones of gongs and crystal bowls. Sound therapy has been shown to have a very positive impact on people’s physical and mental health. Personal experiences are detoxing effects and deep muscle relaxation which has improved my sleep. Good to know: Sometimes I add some strenght and balanced-focused elements in the class. About me After previous seasonal work as a guide in Jordan, Mexico and the Balkans, my interest in teaching has rised. I trained as a teacher of religious studies and started practicing yoga. Ten years later I found my passion in leading yoga classes. The year I discovered Sensing yoga would be the best of my life. I, who have lived with physical pain and mental stress for many years, gradually began to heal. I hope to see you om the mat. With love 🪷 /Marie
