- a workshop to understand your nervous system better and start regulating Do you sometimes feel stressed, restless, or full of emotions without really knowing why? When you finally slow down, does it feel surprisingly difficult to relax and let go? Have you noticed that even though talk therapy helps your mind, your body still longs for something more? Do you ever feel like you’re doing your best to stay in control, but it still doesn’t feel right—leaving you being hard on yourself? Then let me tell you you’re not alone. I've got you. In connection with this you may have heard people talk about regulation and the nervous system. It seems to be everywhere these day. But what does it really mean? What are they actually talking about—and how does it work in our daily lives? This workshop will support you to understand that and show you ways to find back home to yourself. Diving into the subtleties of your being we will learn together how to support ourselves with gentle care through moments of activation such as stress or overactivation such as numbness towards more regulation and safety. Expect some geekie facts and background info about the nervous system as well as hands on practices to experience yourself and a somatic meditation to take home. You will leave this workshop more grounded and with greater insights into yourself and how to start to regulate. Workshop will happen when at least 4 people have signed up A bit about me: I see myself first and foremost as an explorer—of my own body and of life itself. My background as a Hatha and Body Love (tantra) yoga and meditation teacher, together with my work as a massage therapist and my love for dance and the nervous system, shapes the way I hold space. In my sessions, I weave together slowness, joy, and a spark of geeky facts. My deepest wish is to create brave spaces where people can truly listen to their bodies, follow the impulses of authenticity, and explore the life that is already moving through them. From there, we often find our way toward more happiness, wholeness, and a deeply fulfilling life.
