Hatha yoga can bring you balance and grounding in the body, physically, mentally and spiritually as the seasons change. The autumn or fall is a time of transformation, the winds of change come alive. It’s a time for harvest and to let things fall away, just as the trees do with their leaves 🌬️🍂 Although this may seem sad, the fall can also bring unsettling emotions, this shedding allows for release, reflexion and new growth. 🌱 As the warmth of summer is ending and the cool winds of autumn arrive it’s important to use heat generating and stabilizing poses. Vata energy is most prominent this time of year, this can bring chaos but it can also bring lightness and subtleness if negotiated in the right way. Come and join me as we delve into a nourishing Hatha practice with poses that will calm our inner world while the outer one is whirling. See you on the mat! ✨
