Yin Yoga – A Month-Long Journey of Purposefully Slowing Down to Embrace Rest and Recovery In this course we’ll explore the art of slowing down using somatic practices and nervous system-regulating techniques together with targeting the fascia in the body with yin yoga, guiding you back home to yourself. Whether you're dealing with stiffness, hypermobility, injury, pain, or simply seeking to deepen your practice, each class will support you in honoring your body and its needs. This course integrates soothing techniques and mindful movement to cultivate calm and vitality, allowing space to do less and be more. Come as you are, with no expectations or pressure. You’ll gain tools to confidently practice at home, incorporating these practices into your daily life. For a more profound experience, attending the full course is recommended. However, drop-in spots are also available if you can't commit to the whole series. Wear comfortable, warm clothes, and know the classes will be taught in both Swedish and English, depending on the participants. Step into this sacred space, release tension, and reconnect. What is Yin Yoga? – The Practice for Flexibility, Strength, and Recovery Yin yoga is a passive practice where you hold poses for about 3-7 minutes, allowing your body to deeply relax and open, tending to the fascia throughout the body. Emelina will guide you into poses tailored to your unique body, anatomy and needs, with nervous system-regulating exercises, mindful presence, and breathing techniques woven into the sessions.
