Letting go. During a Yin class, we stay in poses for a longer period of time, allowing you to reach not only the muscles, but especially the connective tissue, joints, and deeper layers of the body. It is a quiet, meditative form of yoga that creates space — in your body and in your mind. But Yin is more than stretching. It is a practice of surrender. Of feeling what is present. Of softening into the moment. Of slowly releasing what you no longer need to hold on to. This class takes place in the evening — a gentle moment to consciously close your day. We calm the nervous system, allow built-up tension to melt away, and create space to move into your night with ease. Many people notice they fall asleep more easily and experience deeper, more restorative sleep after a Yin class. I believe in the power of consistency. Not because it “has to be,” but because repetition opens something. A weekly class can become an anchor — a place to breathe, to release tension, and to come home to yourself.
