Victoria Slaymark
Victoria is a yoga and embodiment movement teacher, doula, women's health coach and chef. Her teaching focuses on sharing knowledge, understanding and felt-experience to deepen our intimacy with ourselves, each other and nature. The heart of her work is to remind you what it feels like to be in friendship with your body and nature, rather than against it. When we know and can tune in to its language and rhythms, we open ourselves to nature’s innate capacity to heal. Victoria is drawn to the more feminine, playful, and freeing forms of practices and combines various movement practices with therapeutic music, meditation and compassionate inquiry. She is known for her ability to fuse Eastern and Western medicine, create safe cocoons for healing and her grounding voice. Victoria holds yoga certifications in Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Prenatal and Maternity Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Shake the Dust, and Myofascia release (self-massage). She is also a certified Ayurveda Health Coach and Doula, with over 1000 hours of health, wellness, and medical education. She’s based between Lofoten in Norway and Jämtland in Sweden. When not teaching you’ll find her nerding out with a book, playing in the mountains and ocean, or cooking a nourishing meal.
