Ashtanga Foundations – A 5-Week Journey at Studio Celestine Welcome to a grounding and energising introduction to Ashtanga yoga in the healing space of Studio Celestine in Såå– surrounded by mountains, light and the changing seasons. Over five sessions of 1.5 hours, you’ll be gently guided through the foundations of the Ashtanga Primary Series: conscious breathing, sun salutations, standing postures and simple seated poses. We move with curiosity and respect for each body, so that you can build strength, steadiness and trust in your own practice. This series is designed as a supportive journey – from your very first encounter with Ashtanga to feeling ready to join regular classes at Studio Celestine or elsewhere. During these 5 weeks you will: • learn Ujjayi breath and how it supports your nervous system • explore Sun Salutations A & B step by step • get to know key standing and seated postures of the Primary Series • receive clear options and modifications for your body and energy • experience how breath, movement and presence can bring you back home to yourself Each class weaves together foundation, flow and reflection – with space to pause, feel and ask questions. This course is for you if: • you are new to Ashtanga or coming back after a break • you want a clear, structured introduction in a soft and inclusive space • you feel drawn to both grounding and energising practices • you’d like to feel confident enough to join ledclasses afterwards No previous experience with Ashtanga is needed – all levels are welcome.
